Police Arrest Ellington Man on Sexual Assault Charges

On Wednesday, Sept. 9, Waterford Police arrested Adam J. Friedman, 27, of 84 Crane Rd., Ellington, in connection with a sexual assault investigation.

Friedman was charged with three counts of sexual assault in the second degree. He voluntarily turned himself in after being notified of a warrant for his arrest, police said.

Friedman allegedly contacted a juvenile female victim through the Internet and various social media and subsequently engaged in sexual relations with the victim on multiple occasions, according to police.]

He was released on a $300,000 bond, pending arraignment.
