Police Arrest Suspect and Locate Two Missing Juveniles in Somers

The case unfolded this week after a resident state trooper spotted a stolen vehicle.

Two missing juveniles were found in a stolen vehicle along with the suspected car thief.

The Somers resident state trooper school resource officer was at Somers High School on normal duty Wednesday when he noticed a suspicious vehicle that had been reported stolen earlier in the day, according to police.

He checked the surrounding area and spotted it near the school. The sole occupant jumped out and ran into the woods. He reviewed surveillance video and interviewed witnesses to learn the identity of the juvenile suspect.
