Police Investigating Armed Robbery at Somers Pharmacy
The incident took place at approximately 4:15 p.m. on Friday.

Connecticut State Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place at the Somers Pharmacy at approximately 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
According to police, a white or Hispanic male entered the pharmacy and demanded prescription medication from the pharmacist. The man displayed a firearm.
He then fled the drug store, driving a vehicle described as a newer, maroon Buick Lacrosse or similar style vehicle.
The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male who is who is approximately 5’10” tall and 220 pounds. He was dressed in all black, including a mask. The suspect’s black jacket had distinctive black and white stripes on the collar, waistband, and wristbands.
On Sunday, a CVS Pharmacy in Enfield was robbed, and Connecticut State Police Lt. J. Paul Vance said that police are looking at both incidents to see if there are any relative similarities.
