Quiet Bandits Break Into Somers Home: State Police

The burglars never even woke up the residents while breaking into a Somers home, state police said.

SOMERS, CT — State police said they are investigating an overnight burglary in Somers.

The burglary took place sometime between 12:30 and 7 a.m. on White Birch Circle, state police said.

Entry was made into the house via a back window while two adults were inside sleeping, state police said. They were not injured or disturbed, state police said.

An unspecified amount of U.S. currency — bills and coins — was reported missing, state police said.

State police said they are investigating the matter and anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area is being asked to call state police at 860-896-3200.
