Patricia Penfield, 68, of 279 Wells Rd., Wethersfield, was charged with illegal sale of drugs, possession of narcotics and unauthorized conveyance of items into a correctional institution, on a warrant.

Sandra Strickland-Madrak, 49, of 130 Cook Rd., Tolland, was charged with operating under the influence, drinking while driving and failure to drive in proper lane, in connection with a motor vehicle stop on Old Stafford Rd. in Tolland, 1:50 a.m.
