Report: Man Arrested After Bad Drug Deal Led to Bat Standoff in Ellington

No one was injured after the bats were drawn, state police said.

ELLINGTON, CT — An Ellington man is facing a trio of drug-related charges after a deal went awry and wound up causing a confrontation with bats, according to an arrest report.

Christopher Jackson, 19, of West Road, Ellington was charged on Aug. 15 with possession of a controlled substance, possession with the intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia, state police said. He is due in court on Aug. 3o, according to an arrest report.

State police said the 12:53 a.m. drug deal at another location went wrong and a confrontation spilled over to Lookout Landing.
