State police on Monday released a report on a crash involving a pickup in Somers.

SOMERS, CT — State police on Monday released a report on a crash involving four 18-year-olds from Somers.
The crash took place at 5:05 a.m. on Sunday.
The teens were in a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado and the truck was headed east along George Wood Road, according to a report. It went out of control while approaching the Four Bridges Road intersection, hit a utility pole, kept going and wound up in a field off the edge of Durkee Road, according to a report.

The driver had minor injuries and was taken to Johnson Memorial Hospital, according to a report.
Two passengers escaped serious injuries but a third was thrown from the truck and was taken to Hartford Hospital via Life Star helicopter. State police on Monday said the unjuries were serious.

The crash is still under investigation, state police said.
