Road Closed in Somers Due to an Accident

SOMERS, CT — A portion of Route 190 in Somers was temporarily closed due to a single car accident Sunday night.

A motorist slid off of the road into a ditch adjacent to Highland View Drive, across the street from the Knights of Columbus building.

A dozen emergency vehicles were on the scene as of 8:30 p.m.

Police said no injuries were reported.
