Roads Shut Near Somers-Ellington Line After Pole, Wires Down

SOMERS, CT — Roads are closed near the Somers town line after a pole and wires were reported down, according to Somers Public Works.

The department said the issue was reported on Pioneer Heights and Reeves Road, right at the town line. Drivers are being told to avoid the area and take alternate routes.

Closures are in place at Pinney Road and Pioneer Heights, along with Reeves Road and Sadds Mill Road. No immediate timeline for reopening was announced.
