School Bus Hit In Ellington Monday
A school bus was hit on a state road in Ellington on Monday.

ELLINGTON, CT — A school bus was hit by another vehicle in Ellington Monday morning, state police said.
The school bus, which had no children on it, was traveling southbound on Route 83, according to a preliminary report. It began to make a left-hand turn onto Route 140, state police said.
A second vehicle was traveling westbound on Route 140 and had come to a stop at the stop sign at the intersection of Route 83, according to a report. That vehicle proceeded to take a left-hand turn onto Rt. 83 and struck the side of the the bus while it was still turning, a report indicates.

N0 injuries were reported.
The operator of the second vehicle was found to be at fault and issued an infraction for failure grant the right of way at an intersection, according to state police.
