This Small Donation Is Helping Somers Families Get Through The Cold
Residents can drop off donations at Town Hall, the Police Department, the Senior Center, and Human Services.
SOMERS, CT — A community blanket drive is underway in Somers to support local families in need, with residents invited to donate new blankets throughout the first half of February.
The drive is being coordinated by Somers Human Services and will run from February 1 through February 15, according to information shared by the town. Donations will be distributed to Somers families who need help staying warm during the winter months.
Organizers are asking for new blankets only, in throw, twin, or full/queen sizes.

Blankets can be dropped off at the following locations during normal business hours:
• Somers Police Department, 451 Main St.
• Somers Human Services, 619 Main St.
• Somers Town Hall, 600 Main St.
• Somers Senior Center, 19 Battle St.
