SOMERS, CT — A lucky resident of the Dayville section of Killingly has cashed in the first of three top prizes in a CT Lottery scratch game which debuted last month.

Investing $20 in a Mega 7s ticket at the Henny Penny store on Main Street in Somers, the winner scooped up the top prize of $277,777. The player, who opted to remain anonymous, claimed the winnings Friday, according to the CT Lottery web site.
