Somers shoppers have spoken!
The Economic Development Commission of Somers has presented its fourth "Business of the Month" award to Sue's Shirt Creations of 629 Main Street. The awrd was presented by Someres Selectman Robert Schmidt to business owner Michelle Wink, her husband Chad, and her son Joseph. Sue's Shirt Creations was nominated by town resident Robert Hall in recognition of its business participation in town projects and its creation of "Somers Strong" shirts in support of the Somersville fire victims.
Patrons from any community can nominate a Somers business for the award based on such criteria as exemplary customer service, innovation product or services, professional staff development, donating money to a town project, sponsoring a youth project, or longevity in business.
