SOMERS EDUCATION FOUNDATION PRESENTS ITS "TASTE OF EXCELLENCE"
ANNUAL FUNDRAISING EVENT TO TAKE PLACE OCTOBER 25
Join us for an evening of delicious food and great company at the Somers Education Foundation’s “Taste of Excellence” on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at the Knights of Columbus located on Route 190 in Somers. This wine and beer tasting event, presented by Kaman’s Wines and Spirits of Somers and distributor Allan S. Goodman, will be held from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Among the unique assortment of wines and beers available to taste are those from Zonin USA, Maison Albert Bichot, Allan S. Goodman, Ste. Michelle Wine Estate, Treasure Wine Estates, Rogo Distributors seasonal beers and ciders, a selection of interesting and hard to find spirits presented by Jeff Conelius and Allan S. Goodman, and special offerings from Broad Brook Brewing Company.
The “Taste” will also include finger foods provided by such local eateries as Frigo’s, and Cedar Knob Restaurant as well as coffee by nationally known favorite Dunkin’ Donuts. Among the drawing prizes available will be an ipad, tickets to sporting events, gift baskets, restaurant gift cards and much more. Guests will be entertained by the live jazz music by Ray Suzor of Sax and Samba.

The Somers Education Foundation is a not-for-profit organization supporting innovative projects and programs that enhance student learning in Somers public schools.
