Somers First Selectwoman Facing Residency Complaint
She had denied accusations she does not live in town.

SOMERS, CT - The State Elections Enforcement Commission is investigating First Selectwoman Lisa Pellegrini following a complaint that she no longer lives in town, an accusation Pellegrini is saying is false, according to a story in the Journal Inquirer.
According to state law, an elected official must be a resident of the town in which he or she serves.
The complaint against the Republican first selectwoman was filed with the SEEC on June 9 by former Republican Town Committee Vice Chairman Michael Bushior, according to the JI story. State officials said the investigation could take some time.
