Somers Girls to Open Class S Basketball Tournament at Home
The Spartans are seeded seventh in Class S, according to the brackets released Wednesday morning.

SOMERS, CT — The road to Mohegan Sun starts Monday and Tuesday, as Somers High School and 129 other high school girls basketball teams begin their quests for state championships in the CIAC tournaments.
An impressive 15-5 regular season record gave Somers the No. 7 seed and an opening round home game in the Class S tournament. The Spartans will host No. 26 Aerospace (9-11) Tuesday at 7 p.m.
