Somers Golfer Excels in State Championship

The Spartans had a player place in the top 10 in the Division IV individual competition Monday.

WATERTOWN, CT — In the Division IV golk championships at Crestbrook Park Golf Club Monday, Portland emerged with a 9-stroke victory over Immaculate to win its second straight title.

Thomas Kingsbury of Tourtellotte was individual medalist with a 75.
