Somers Home, Ellington On the Road in Boys Hoop Tournaments
The Spartans and Knights have both qualified for state tournament play.
ELLINGTON-SOMERS, CT — Brackets for the CIAC boys basketball tournaments were released Wednesday morning, and both Ellington and Somers high schools will be competing for state championships.
In Division IV, Ellington (10-10) is the No. 21 seed, and will travel to NCCC rival and No. 12 Granby Memorial (13-7) Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Somers (10-10) is the No. 15 seed in Division V, and will host No. 18 Lyman Memorial (9-11) Monday at 7 p.m.
