Somers Legion Post Hosts Community Chicken Barbecue
The Somers American Legion Post 101 will host its first Community Chicken Barbecue on Saturday, June 18th, 2016, at Pleasant View Farms.
The American Legion is proud to be America's oldest and largest veteran's service organization. We're educating America about all we do,....and how everyone can help. This event will help the post raise urgently needed funds, which help to support our local programs, such as sponsorship to Boys' State and CT State Police Youth Week, local community projects, and support to local and area veterans in need.
Tickets are available in advance or at the door. Adults: $10 Children: $5 (12 and under). Seating inside, so this is a rain or shine event, in conjunction with the Raptor truck show.
