Somers Man Charged with Multiple Burglaries

South Windsor police say the man was responsible for three burglaries that occurred over the summer in that town.

South Windsor Police have charged a Somers man in connection to three burglaries that took place in South Windsor this summer.

Police arrested Bradley Gray, 31, of 476 Pinney Road, Somers, on arrest warrants Tuesday at Manchester Superior Court.

The arrest stems from three separate July burglary investigations including: a construction site on Sullivan Avenue, a lawn care business trailer and a steel company storage trailer.

Contractors found that someone had broken into storage trailers and stolen a demolition saw, weed whackers, a leaf blower and a welder, according to Deputy Chief Scott Custer.

Custer said investigators found the missing items via pawn shop records and identified Gray as the suspect. Gray was interviewed in jail where he was being held on other charges and confessed to detectives, according to Custer.

Gray was charged with three counts of third-degree burglary, two counts of fourth-degree larceny, fifth-degree larceny, criminal trespass and third-degree criminal mischief.

Gray was held at court on a $47,000 surety bond and was arraigned later that day.
