Somers Municipal Election 2017 Results: Knorr Wins Convincingly

SOMERS, CT — After winning a party primary and then a subsequent challenge, Republican incumbent first selectman C.G. "Bud" Knorr pulled of an electoral hat trick on Tuesday by overwhelmingly maintaining the town's top elected office.
Democrat Edward Sawicki was second in the first selectman race and petitioning candidate Linda Louise LaCasse, Knorr's nemesis in the primary and the challenge, was distant third.
