Somers Obituary: DeAnne Panto, 55

DeAnne L. “Dee” Panto, 55, of Somers, loving wife of John Panto for over 14 years, ended her battle with cancer on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Hartford Hospital.

Born in London, England, Dee was a daughter of the late Robert and Martha (Roderick) Carson. She was raised in Springfield, MA where she graduated from Classical High School, class of ‘78. She later earned a BS in Management from Lesley University in 2000. Dee was employed at ADVO for eleven years before her employment with Prudential Retirement Services for the past five years. She loved gardening, playing golf and tennis, and being outdoors, enjoying the fresh air and sunshine.

Besides her husband John, Dee is survived by two step-children, Joshua Panto and Emma Panto, both of Somers; a brother, Steven Carson and his wife Janet of Hampden, MA; a sister, Cathy Kennedy-Kiendzior and her husband Peter of Westfield, MA; a niece Lisa Carson, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation hours will be held from 3-5 p.m. on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Somers Funeral Home, 354 Main St., Somers, immediately followed by the funeral service at 5:00 p.m. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
