Jennifer Roberts, 48, of Somers laid to rest with her Lord and Savior Friday April 8, 2017 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family.
Jennifer was born in Hartford on March 19, 1969 and is the daughter of Alfred Roberts, with whom she made her home and Paula (Morlino) Pellerin. She was a resident of Somers for the past 17 years and was employed as a Corrections officer for the State of Connecticut before retiring in 2008.
Jennifer was an ordained Christian minister and founder of her own business, Life After Conviction which counseled former inmates to adjust to life following incarceration. She was a parishioner at All Saints Church, enjoyed gardening, and her animals were the biggest love of her life.

Jennifer is survived by a son, Ryan Mailhot and her daughter Juliana Smith both at home, her father, Alfred at home, her mother Paula Pellerin and her husband Donald of Bloomfield, her brother, Christopher Roberts of Oxford and his children, Alexa, Nicholas and Keira.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 17, 2017 at All Saints Church in Somersville. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
