Somers Obituary: Kimberly Wilson, 53

Kimberly F. Wilson, 53, passed away unexpectedly Sunday March 26, 2017.

The daughter of Hamline "Ham" Wilson and the late Dorothy (Moran) Wilson, Kim was born in Providence, RI and was raised in Somers. She graduated from Somers High School in 1981 and later attended The Art Institute of Philadelphia. She lived in Suffield for 17 years and later moved to Enfield. She was formerly employed at Lincoln Financial where she worked for 12 years.

Kim was an avid reader who had a passion for art and crafts. She enjoyed shopping, the beach, her dog Layne, and spending time with family and friends.

Besides her father, she is survived by her two sons, Matthew and Zachary Guilmette; a brother, Stoddard "Todd" Wilson and his wife Joanne of Ipswich, MA; a nephew, Griffin Wilson, and two nieces, Madeline and Nicole Wilson; an uncle, Stephen Wilson and his wife Maureen of North Conway, NH; and fiance Dennis George.

Visitation hours will be held from 3-7 p.m. Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the Somers Funeral Home, 354 Main St., Somers. A graveside service will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Somers Center Cemetery, Battle Street in Somers.
