Somers Obituary: Sean Vasseur, 49

Sean R. Vasseur, 49, of Enfield, passed away Friday, Aug, 18, 2017.

Sean was born in Hartford, and grew up in Somers. He was a builder and designer of recyclable equipment and traveled extensively for his work, to New York, New Jersey and Florida, moving back to the Enfield area in 2012. Sean loved motorcycles, his pickup truck and working with his tools.

He was predeceased by his father, Robert E. Vasseur, Jr. in 2016, his paternal grandfather, Robert E. Vasseur, Sr., and his maternal grandfather, Guido Franciamore. Sean is survived by his mother, Sheila (Franciamore) Vasseur of Enfield, a brother and his wife, Mark J. and Lisa Vasseur of Somers, two sisters, Dawn A. Bond of Westfield, MA, Jannine M. Vasseur of Cape Coral, FL, his paternal grandmother, Doris (Kennedy) Vasseur and his maternal grandmother, Mary (Travis) Franciamore both of Enfield, his fiancee Paula Hastings of Enfield, two nieces, five nephews, seven grandnieces, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, August 25, 2017 at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road from 4-7pm. The funeral and burial are private.
