Wilbur D. Munson, 84, of Somers, beloved husband of Anna (DeVincenzo) Munson for 63 years, entered into eternal peace on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at home surrounded by his family.
He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a parishoner of All Saints Church in Somersville. Wilbur was a recent member of Local 40 Sheetmetal Workers Union in CT and previously was a member of Local 28 Sheetmetal Workers Union in NY.
Besides his wife Anna, he is survived by eleven children, thirty-one grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, and two sisters.

Visitation hours will be held Sunday, January 31, 2016 from 2-5 p.m. at Somers Funeral Home, 354 Main St., Somers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 1, 2016 at All Saints Church in Somersville (Please meet at Church). Committal with military honors will follow at Somers Center Cemetery.
