Somers Opens Search For New Recreation Director

SOMERS, CT — Somers is hiring a full-time director of recreation and leisure services to oversee town programming for youth, adults and seniors.

The full-time director would manage day-to-day department operations, supervise staff, handle the budget, and lead community events and outreach.

The posted salary range is $85,000 to $90,000.

According to the job description, applicants need a bachelor’s degree in a related field, at least three years of recreation administration experience, and at least three years of supervisory experience. The role may also require nights and weekends.
