Somers Police Lt. Arrested in Enfield
The former Somers Resident State Trooper was arrested on a warrant Friday.

ENFIELD, CT — A lieutenant with the Somers Police Department was arrested Friday in Enfield in connection with a domestic violence case.
Jose Claudio, 47, turned himself in at Enfield police headquarters Friday evening on a warrant charging him with second-degree unlawful restraint and disorderly conduct. Bond was set at $2,500, Police Chief Carl Sferrazza said.
According to an arrest report, Claudio's live-in girlfriend filed a complaint at the Enfield Police Department on March 5, alleging an argument with Claudio had escalated into violence. She claimed he pushed her out of a bedroom into the kitchen, during which she sustained injuries to her elbows and back, Sferrazza said.
