SOMERS, CT — A Somers resident recently cashed in a prize of $20,004 on a $2 Mega Millions ticket, according to the CT Lottery website.

Karishma Patel purchased the lucky ticket at Long Hill Discount Liquors in East Hartford. The winnings were claimed May 5, according to the lottery.

The CT Lottery posts winners of $10,000 or more as public record.
