Free Groceries Available in Somers on These Dates
The food truck will distribute fresh groceries at Somers Congregational Church on scheduled Wednesdays starting in January.
SOMERS, CT — Residents can pick up fresh produce and groceries through a recurring mobile food pantry hosted in Somers, with distribution dates scheduled every other Wednesday through the summer.
Connecticut Foodshare is partnering with Somers Congregational Church to offer a Mobile Food Truck that provides free, fresh foods to community members in need.

The food truck will be on site from 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on scheduled Wednesdays in 2026. Participants are encouraged to bring their own sturdy box, bags, cart, or laundry basket to carry food home.
The mobile pantry will be held at Somers Congregational Church, 599 Main Street. No additional details about registration or eligibility were included in the announcement.

- January 14 and January 28
- February 11 and February 25
- March 11 and March 25
- April 8 and April 22
- May 6 and May 20
- June 3 and June 17
