Sponsor The Main Stage Or Drone Show? Somers America250 Fundraising Underway

SOMERS, CT — As the town prepares to mark America’s 250th anniversary, organizers are looking for businesses, families and community members to help fund what is expected to be one of Somers’ largest celebrations in recent memory.

The Somers America250 Committee announced it is actively seeking donations and corporate sponsorships to offset the cost of the town’s America250 event. Organizers have created five sponsorship tiers, each offering varying levels of recognition before and during the celebration.

Blue Sponsorships begin at $500 and include listing of an individual, family or company name on the event website, sponsors’ board and program booklet, along with one company-provided banner displayed at the event.

White Sponsorships at $1,000 add logo placement on the website, sponsors’ board and a quarter-page ad in the program booklet, plus two company-provided banners.

Red Sponsorships at $1,500 include a hyperlinked logo on the event website, half-page program book placement, space for one 10-by-10-foot pop-up tent in the sponsors’ row and three banners.

Patriot Sponsorships at $2,500 offer premium website placement, a full-page program ad, space for two pop-up tents, on-stage recognition, and four banners.

At the top tier, Freedom Sponsorships at $5,000 include premium full-page program placement, two pop-up tent spaces, stage recognition with an opportunity to address attendees, and four banners.

The committee is also offering naming rights opportunities for some of the celebration’s largest attractions, including the main concert stage, the drone light show and the children’s activity area.

Checks should be made payable to the Town of Somers America250 Fund and mailed with a completed sponsorship form to Town of Somers, Attn: America250, 600 Main St., Somers, CT 06071. Sponsors are asked to note their selected sponsorship level in the memo line.
