Somers Town Meeting Approves Budget Referedum Format

Budget voting will take on an advanced method in Somers.

SOMERS, CT — Residents and taxpayers at the annual Somers Town Meeting on Tuesday voted to send the proposed $23.8 million budget for the 2019-20 fiscal year to a referendum.

Voters chose a vote by optical scan on Tuesday, May 14, at the Somers Town Hall auditorium.

Voting will run from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
