Somers Woman Avoids Jail Time
Judith Mehl received probation after pleading guilty to embezzling from her Ellington employer.

A judge has decided that Judith Mehl will not serve any time in jail after she pleaded guilty to embezzling from her employer, the Journal Inquirer reports.
Mehl, 66, of Avery Road, pleaded guilty to stealing over $32,000 from WordCom in Ellington.
She received a three-year conditional discharge, requiring that she doesn’t get charged with a crime in the next three years.
