South Windsor Man Was Drunk When He Crashed His Car in Ellington: Police

State police say the incident occurred around midnight on Windsorville Road. A passenger had to be flown to a local hospital.

State Police say Robert Turner III, 40, of South Windsor, was allegedly driving drunk when he crashed his car and hit a tree in Ellington on Monday, WFSB 3 TV reports.

The accident occurred on Windsorville Road near Crescent Circle and he lost control of his car and hit the tree around midnight, WFSB 3 TV reports.

A passenger in the car was flown to a local hospital for a leg injury, while Turner declined medical treatment.
