Standouts On Campus: Great Feats By Ellington/Somers College Students

Lasell University, Newton MA

• Gianna Chiarenza, a Lasell University student from Ellington, was named to the Dean's List for the fall 2023 semester. To be named to the Dean's List, Lasell students must complete at least 12 credits as a full-time student and achieve a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Roger Williams University, Bristol RI

• Phillip Alaimo, Madison Gebo, Kaitlyn Savage and Sarah Smithline, all of Somers, and Alex Repass of Ellington have been named to the fall 2023 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.

Springfield College, Springfield MA

• Springfield College recognizes a number of students from Ellington and Somers who made the Dean's List for academic excellence for the 2023 fall semester. From Ellington: Beatrice Anyah, Kate Bonanno, Ryan Delaney, Shea Harnois, Lindsey Laughlan and Braedan Shea. From Somers: Athena Baumann, Sarah Gill, Keeley Joyal, Jayden Kement, Aiden Miller, Dimitri Sanchez and James Uyar. The criteria for selection to the Dean's List are as follows: The student must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded coursework for the term, exclusive of "P" grades. The student must not have any incompletes or missing grades in the designated term. The student must have a minimum semester grade average of 3.500 for the term.

Stonehill College, Easton MA

• Ryan Rogers, a member of the Class of 2024 from Somers, has been named to the fall 2023 Dean's List at Stonehill College. To qualify for this honor, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better and must have successfully completed all courses for which they were registered.
