Standouts On Campus: Great Feats By Ellington, Somers College Students

Coastal Carolina University, Conway SC

• More than 1,300 students earned a spot on the President's List for the fall 2023 semester at Coastal Carolina University, including Michael Croyle of Somers and Katelyn Gottier of Ellington. Students who made the President's List have achieved a 4.0 grade point average during the semester.
• Aubrey Charbonneau of Ellington and Raya Davis of Somers were among more than 3,000 undergraduate students at Coastal Carolina University named to the Dean's List for the fall 2023 semester. Students who make the Dean's List have achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or higher (3.25 for freshmen) for the semester.

College of the Holy Cross, Worcester MA

• Alexis Cantin and Katherine Santini, both of Ellington, were among more than 1,600 students named to the College of the Holy Cross' Dean's List for outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2023-24 academic year. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must pass four or more letter-graded courses with no failing grades during the semester and earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Emmanuel College, Boston MA

• In recognition of their outstanding academic achievement, Emmanuel College in Boston has named more than 900 students to the Dean's List for the fall 2023 semester. Honorees from Somers are Morgan Juzba, Madeline Mancuso, Anna Majowicz, Madison Hinkley and Ethan Haluch.To earn a spot on the Dean's List, Emmanuel students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for a 16-credit semester

University of Hartford, West Hartford CT

• The University of Hartford congratulates the eight students from Ellington who have been named to the President's List for fall 2023. Ellington honorees are Carlie Bouchard, John Hintze, Zachary Longo, Claire McMenamin, Melissa Ryan, Tess Ryan, Kareem Shreidi and Lindsey Wearne. The President's List is made up of an extremely select group of students who earned a grade point average of 3.75 or higher in the semester.
• Sixteen students from Ellington and six from Somers were named to the fall 2023 Dean's List.
