State Police Arrest Man For Stafford Sexual Assault
The man is charged with sexual assault and was being held on a high bond.

STAFFORD, CT — State police on Friday arrested a 27-year-old for sexually assaulting an 11-year-old in Stafford.
Timothy Miceli, whose listed address is 37 River St., Lisbon, was taken into custody at 5:59 p.m. Friday, state police said. He is charged with first-degree sexual assault on someone unable to consent and risk of injury to a child, according to an arrest report.
He was being held Friday night on a $750,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Rockville Superior Court Tuesday, according to an arrest report.

On Feb. 10, an 11-year-old reported a sexual relationship that had been taking place with her mother's "live-in boyfriend" that had been taking place for several months, according to an arrest report. Detectives from the Eastern District Major Crime Squad out of Troop C in Tolland then began investigating, according to an arrest report.
The incidents took place on Park Street in Stafford, according to an arrest report. The girl had initially told a therapist about the sexual assaults, according to an arrest warrant. State police and the girl's mother were then notified, state police said.

In August, Miceli had moved into the Stafford residence and began watching the girl while the girl's mother was at work, according to an arrest warrant. The two began having sex a month earlier, according to an arrest report.
Th girl was eventually examined with a rape kit at Connecticut Children's Medical Center, according to an arrest warrant.
