State Police: Car Runs Amok on Front Lawns in Somers
The incident is being investigated, state police said.

SOMERS, CT — State police are investigating a weekend incident in which a car wrecked several front lawns in town.
State police gave two examples in an incident report from Saturday at 5:30 p.m. A dark-colored Toyota Prius was seen traveling east on Jamestown Road when it veered off the road and onto a lawn, according to an incident report.
The car also hit a pair of light posts and ran over several bushes in another yard, state police said.

The vehicle then sped away in an unknown direction on Route 83, state police said.
A witness could not get the registration number, state police said.
