State Police Investigating Brick-Throwing Incident in Ellington

Money was also taken from a car at another location.

ELLINGTON, CT - State police are investigating a brick-throwing incident that smashed a car window.

The person who lodges the complaint is 25 and told state police that a brick was thrown through the passenger window of a car on Sprucewood Drive during the overnight hours of July 16.

The cost of replacing the window was $300, state police said.

Also that night, about $80 in cash was taken from a car parked in a driveway on Raspberry Lane, state police said. The car was not damaged, state police said.
