State Police Investigating Somers Car Burglaries

State police are investigating a series of recent car burglaries in a Somers neighborhood.

On Sunday morning, police were called to a home on Highland View Drive for a reported non-active burglary. Investigation revealed someone had gained entry into a garage through an unlocked window, then stole items from vehicles parked inside.

Police estimate the break-in occurred between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m.

Troopers also believe the same suspect may be responsible for similar burglaries of unlocked cars along that same street.
