State Police Investigating Thefts in Ellington
Two thefts were reported in Ellington over the past few days.

ELLINGTON, CT — State police are investigating two instances of theft that took place over the past few days.
Troopers responded to Longview Street at 6:32 a.m. on Dec. 27. where a car had been stolen overnight, according to a report.
State police said anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area can call resident troopers at 860-875-1522.

At 4:50 a.m. on Dec. 29, troopers received a 911 call from a home on Orchard Street for an active burglary, according to a report.
Some one wearing a dark jacket was spotted running from the scene, state police said.
