State Police Investigation Continues In Ellington Homicide Case

ELLINGTON, CT- State Police continue to work on piecing together just what happened to Connie Dabate two days before Christmas.

The case of her death, ruled a homicide, is still being intensely investigated, state police spokeswoman Trooper First Class Kelly Grant said on Thursday.

There have been no new developments in the case, at least any that can be shared with the public, she said.

More than three months ago, Dabate, a local mom, was found dead inside her home after an apparent home invasion just two days before Christmas. Her husband was treated for minor injuries. Dabate's death was ruled a homicide shortly after, state police said..
