State Police K9 Finds Missing Woman in Ellington
The dog found the 55-year-old in a body of water in a wooded area of Ellington early Thursday morning.

A Connecticut State Police K9 unit is being credited with possibly saving the life of a Tolland woman who had been reported missing Wednesday night.
Caroline Boudle, 55, had been last seen walking along Route 30 around 8 p.m. Wednesday. An all-out search was initiated, including robo calls to all homes within a five-mile radius of Eaton Road.
Around 3 a.m., Trooper Anthony Cristy found fresh footprints in the snow leading into a wooded area in Ellington. Police K9 Axel was released and found Boudle within moments approximately 80 yards into the woods, in a frigid pond.
