State Police: Man Flips Golf Cart in Ellington

ELLINGTON, CT — An 85-year-old resident of Jobs Hill Road sustained what state police called minor injuries when he flipped his golf cart earlier this week.

On Tuesday at 4:10 p.m., Edward Bolles, 85, of was riding in an easterly direction on his Jobs Hill Road property when the cart, for "reasons unknown" to state police veered partially into the road and overturned, according to a accident report.

Bolles was transported to Hartford Hospital, state police said.
