State Police Seek Help to Identify Credit Card Theft Suspect

A Somers woman had fraudulent withdrawals taken from her bank account.

Editor’s note: We published this story earlier in the week, but here it is again in case you missed it.

On Aug. 22, 2015, state police from Troop C – Tolland were dispatched to a reported suspicious incident in the town of Somers. The female victim reported that she had found fraudulent withdrawals from her checking account.

A criminal investigation was initiated and troopers obtained surveillance video footage from an ATM located in New Britain. The illegal withdrawals occurred on Aug. 21 at 6:37 p.m.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, late teens, around 5’10’’, and 130 pounds.
