Suspect's Photo Released in Somers Liquor Store Caper

State police are looking for a man who used a stolen credit card at a Somers liquor store.

SOMERS, CT — State police on Wednesday said they have developed a suspect in an Oct 7 stolen credit card purchase at a Somers liquor store.

At 12:44 p.m. that day, troopers from Troop C in Tolland began investigating a report that a credit card was stolen and later used at Somers Liquor and Wine, 103 Main St.

The suspect is being described as a white male wearing a gray, long-sleeved shirt and a black hat. A surveillance image was released by state police on Wednesday.

The man used the stolen credit card to purchase alcohol and cigarettes, state police said.

State police said anyone who has any information regarding the incident or suspect can contact Troop C at 860-896-3200, ext. 8058 or text TIP711 with any information to 274637. All calls and texts will be kept confidential, state police said.
