Ted Graziani Supporter- 'I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore"

A quote from the 1976 movie, "Network" sums up things perfectly for voters everywhere this November 5. "Things have got to change. But first, you've gotta get mad!... You've got to say, 'I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore!" Recently, our political system in Washington DC was a worldwide laughingstock, and many people are angry with the government shutdown. Change is needed not only in Washington DC, but in Ellington, CT.
Recently, I did something that I never did before. I contacted Ted Graziani, and asked to meet with him and learn more about what he plans to do if elected First Selectman. Mr. Graziani was more than gracious, and I left our meeting energized and convinced that we have the person we need for the Town of Ellington. Mr. Graziani has a long history of service to citizens, including 12 years of experience as State Representative, and knows how to get things done. Ted knows which legislative issues impact Ellington, and knows how to make our views known in Hartford. I loved the fact that a party label is not important to Ted. What is more important is to respond to the needs of citizens regardless of political party, background, or influence. Everybody matters to Ted. It seems to me that his current experience as a member of the Board of Selectmen convinced Ted that he needed to run for the Office of First Selectman. He wants to end "No Bid" contracts, encourage better communication between boards and commissions, work with town departments to improve services and reduce costs, and most importantly, establish an open door communication policy with residents, employees and public officials.
Not only will Ted work tirelessly for me, but he will work tirelessly for everyone. Time for Leadership with a Heart.
