Thief Breaks into Ellington Store, Steals Money: State Police
State police are investigating a break-in at an Ellington store.

ELLINGTON, CT — State police are investigating a break-in at an Ellington store.
According to an incident report, based on surveillance, a "newer-model sedan" pulled in front of the Ellington Depot General Store, 1 Crystal Lake Road, at 3:47 a.m. on Wednesday.
A man, who was concealing his face, is then seen forcing his way through the front door and stealing money from the register, according to a report.

Anyone who may have noticed suspicious activity in the area can call the state police Troop C barracks at 860-896-3200.
The business had a sign out front, near the damaged door, on Friday morning indicating it was still open.
