Thursday's High School Scoreboard: Hartford And Tolland Counties

HARTFORD-TOLLAND COUNTIES, CT — The official opening of the Connecticut high school sports season got off to a slow start Thursday, with many school districts dismissing students early due to an excessive heat index. However, some volleyball, soccer and football games were played.

Here is Thursday's scoreboard of contests involving varsity teams from high schools in Hartford and Tolland counties, as reported to the CIAC (note: games whose scores are not posted on the CIAC website are not included here).

This scoreboard is updated throughout the evening and early morning as final scores are received.
