Tickets On Sale For Ellington High Safe Grad Party Auction

ELLINGTON/SOMERS, CT — Tickets are on sale now for a special fund-raising event next week that aims to raise money to ensure Ellington High School's Class of 2023 has a safe graduation night.

Proceeds of the annual "Safe Graduation Auction," will benefit a post-graduation party for EHS grads in June.

The event's goal is to give grads a safe, substance-free celebration on their graduation night, which is often a night of heavy revelry and, sometimes, tragedy.

To get to that event, however, organizers are hosting a benefit auction on Saturday, May 6, at the Knights of Columbus, 236 Main St., Somers.

Tickets are $20 each and the event will take place from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.

In addition to a silent auction, teacup auction and live auction, the benefit will feature a cash bar, live music and fun, according to an event promotion flyer.
